Mucha Museum – the first museum in the world dedicated exclusively to the life and work of the world-famous representative of Art Nouveau, Alfons Mucha (1860–1939) was opened to the public in Prague on Panská Street on 13 February 1998. Mucha Museum is the only institution in Prague exhibiting exclusively originals by A. Mucha. It covers an area of ​​500 m2, including a museum shop offering an exclusive collection of gifts and posters with motifs of A. Mucha's works. The collection, which is now on display in the museum, represents almost 100 originals from the original collection of the world-famous Czechoslovak tennis player Ivan Lendl. It should not be confused with a similar museum that copied its name and concept and recently opened nearby.
